“Crap” you say?

Well Republican Lindsey Graham finally had enough of David Axelrod’s spinning for the boy president today and called him on it. Specifically he called Axelrod’s comments “crap.” Perhaps finer language might have been used, but it is about time that someone spoke the truth. Axelrod is so philosophically out of touch with normal America that it is beyond belief. His main job seems to be explaining away Obama’s gaffes, inexperience and hubris. Axelrod is an ideologue and Obama is his fighter in the ring. His fighter is being pummelled!
Axelrod is doing everything he can to convince the country that his man is still popular and honest and doing the business the country elected him to do. Really? Has he brought unity? ended political divisiveness? Corruption? Ended perks for special interests? Made us safer? Focused on the economy? Listened to the American public? Been bipartisan? I don’t always agree with Lindsay Graham, but this time I think he hit the nail on the head. Crap it is.
A great country

As I mentioned yesterday , I was very impressed with former Lt Governor Jane Norton at the debate the other night in Colorado Springs. She is running to replace the senate appointee Michael Bennet, a dyed in the wool liberal democrat. If you havent heard her, here is her first statewide ad; Another one is coming out today. I think she is very electable.
On top of everything, President Obama’s approval ratings are now the lowest ever. The American people have wised up to this charlatan and his team of radicals! What a great country. Below is the link to the Gallup tracking poll on Obama, and the Norton ad. Enjoy the weekend; Back on Monday.

Republican debate
by Jim on Mar.10, 2010, under Politics
Last night I went with my friend Scott to a debate among all the Republican candidates for major state offices in Colorado. What a turn out! The hall was packed to capacity and there were over a hundred people reportedly standing in the back. This is a true testimony to the power of the people and the discontent with the current administration.
What really struck me was the energy and passion of the crowd and speakers. I would not want to be an incumbent today! If last nights assembly was any indication, this will not be a good year for the democrats… unless the conservative/republicans shoot themselves in the foot.
The candidates for senate against the appointed Senator Bennett all had good solid points. Some were more inflammatory and vocal than others. Several I would consider firebrands. The front runner and unfortunately the one who did not receive the biggest applause, was former Lt Governor Jane Norton. She was poised, articulate, and thoughtful. She echoed the conservative message but she was attacked by at least one of the other candidates. There are also lots of anti Norton ads on the radio by an unknown PAC. I think this is counter productive. She may well be the candidate and I hate to see her savaged by fellow conservatives for not being as far to the right as they are. Good lord , how far to the right do you have to be? Of all the candidates, I believe she is the most electable in a state wide race, and after all isn’t that the goal?
I loved the enthusiasm of the crowd and the willingness to pack a hall on a cold Tuesday night; but lets pull together as a team and fight the liberal democrats. If you have a different position state it; but lets not trash fellow conservatives. It could come back to haunt us.
